Guidebook for Leasing Land for Large-Scale Solar Development

The Pennsylvania Solar Center in consultation with Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services has developed a guidebook to help Pennsylvania landowners navigate the process of leasing their land for solar development. The guidebook was developed over the past two years and included a stakeholder interview process that included a diverse group of professionals from local government, farm advisory groups, solar industry as well as legal, environmental, and land conservation groups. The guidebook was publicly released on October 20, 2023.
