OUR VISION:
The Pennsylvania Solar Center (PSC) is a premier statewide solar resource and assistance center that provides the community with unbiased education and information, connections to technical and legal guidance, community-based marketing, access to capital as well as public policy development and education in an effort to transform Pennsylvania into a leading solar state.
The Pennsylvania Solar Center provides hands-on assistance for potential solar owners by linking them with investors, funding opportunities and qualified solar developers with a focus on supporting efforts of tax-exempt entities (non-profit organizations, schools, municipalities, etc.) and small businesses to go solar. PSC is also a go-to source for online information for homeowners as well as zoning and permitting best practices for municipalities. The PSC maintains a statewide registry of commercial and non-profit solar owners for the purpose of policy advocacy as well as a directory of qualified solar installation businesses to help the public find reputable solar contractors. Future goals include facilitating workforce development and training and resources for landowners considering leasing their property for grid-scale solar development.

The Pennsylvania Solar Center is a project of the New Sun Rising, a 501(c)3 organization located in Millvale, PA, that serves as PSC’s fiscal agent.
